Gaffney High School senior quarterback Corey Taylor has been a key player in the Gaffney Varsity Boys Football team’s strong start to the 2026 season, securing three victories in recent weeks. The team’s most recent win occurred on Friday, September 4, 2026, when Gaffney defeated Lancaster High School 28-13 in a home game at Gaffney High School.

Taylor’s performance against Lancaster included 104 passing yards and 8 completions on 14 attempts. This follows another significant win on Friday, August 28, 2026, where Gaffney triumphed over J.L.
