LONDON, England — Former Clemson running back Will Shipley scored his first regular-season NFL touchdown on Sunday in London, England, but a foot injury cut short his first start for the Philadelphia Eagles in a 19-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Shipley started with Saquon Barkley sidelined by a hamstring injury. In the second quarter he cut behind blocks from E.J. Jenkins and fellow former Tiger Willie Lampkin for a two-yard touchdown that tied the game at seven.

He injured his foot later in the quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the game. He finished with five carries for six yards and one catch for seven yards.

Coming into the game, Shipley had 59 career regular-season carries for 182 yards and 1,084 kick return yards since 2024.

Another former Clemson player, linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr., was ejected after an altercation on the opening kickoff. Jacksonville won on a 57-yard field goal as time expired.
