Richland’s busiest site Wednesday was the county elections office at Columbia Mall Boulevard, followed by Brookland Baptist Church Northeast and the Ballentine Community Center in Irmo. Richland also offers early voting at USC’s Blatt PE building, Columbia College and the CR Neal Dream Center. In Lexington County, the voter registration office led, ahead of the West Columbia Community Center and Midlands Technical College’s Harbison campus.

Early voting runs through Saturday, Oct. 31. Doors open at 8:30 each morning and close at 6 in the evening, six days a week, with no voting on Sunday, Oct. 25.

Any early voting site in a voter’s own county will work, and a valid photo ID is required. They vote on the same equipment used at regular polling places. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
