Spartanburg, SC – The Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium has announced an exciting line-up for its 2025-2026 Broadway season, featuring a total of five acclaimed shows set to take the stage from November 2025 to June 2026. The season features a collaboration between the auditorium and Nederlander National Markets, a partnership dedicated to bringing top-tier Broadway productions to the Spartanburg area.

The season will kick off with Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas on November 26, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. This musical is set in the 1930s and reimagines the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge, who, as the owner of a mining company town, is overtaken by greed. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by his deceased business partner and three ghosts who guide him to realize that love is the most significant gift of all.

Following the festive opening, the season will continue with Hadestown on February 5, 2026. This award-winning musical, created by Anaïs Mitchell and directed by Rachel Chavkin, intertwines the classical tales of Orpheus and Eurydice with Hades and Persephone and won eight Tony Awards in 2019, including Best Musical. It also took home the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in 2020.

On March 24, 2026, audiences can expect an engaging experience with The Simon & Garfunkel Story, a concert-style theater presentation that chronicles the musical journey of iconic duo Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. The show will pay tribute to their career beginnings as Tom & Jerry and follow their evolution to becoming one of the best-selling duos of the 1960s, culminating in their 1981 reunion concert in Central Park.

The season also features a comedic twist with Clue on April 28, 2026, which is based on the popular 1985 film and Hasbro board game. This whodunit comedy promises a night of mystery and laughter as six enigmatic guests gather for an intriguing dinner at Boddy Manor, faced with a shocking murder and a series of surprising events.

Finally, the season will conclude with the beloved musical Mrs. Doubtfire on June 11, 2026. Adapted from the cherished film, this production tells the story of an out-of-work actor who will go to great lengths to stay close to his children. It has been described as a heartwarming, family-friendly comedy that has received high praise from critics and audiences alike.

Season subscriptions for these five exciting shows will go on sale starting August 11, 2025, with packages starting at $175. Current subscribers have the opportunity to renew their seats for another thrilling season, while new subscribers can purchase tickets through BroadwayinSpartanburg.com.

For those interested in attending individual performances, tickets will become available in the weeks leading up to each show. For more details, individuals can call the auditorium at 864-582-8107 or visit the official website at www.crowdpleaser.com.
