**HEAR HERE — Not News Yet. But What’s Being Said.**

ZF Chassis Systems Duncan says it will invest **$55.4 million** and add **30 new jobs** in Spartanburg County through a **477,360-square-foot expansion** at **171 International Park Drive in Spartanburg**, according to a Spartanburg County announcement.

The plant has operated in South Carolina for more than 30 years and provides axle system assembly and logistics services to a leading global car manufacturer. New operations are expected to be online in **September 2027**, per the county.

*Why it matters locally:* the expansion reinforces Spartanburg’s automotive supplier base along the Upstate SC corridor and extends one of BMW’s longest-tenured Tier 1 partners deeper into the county.
