Spartanburg, SC – Road closures for the upcoming Spartanburg Regional Criterium will commence on Wednesday, April 30, at 11 p.m. and will remain in effect until Saturday, May 3, at 1 a.m. The event is set to take place in downtown Spartanburg on Friday, May 2, showcasing a fast-paced, multi-lap cycling race over a half-mile course with professional cyclists in attendance.
The Criterium, dubbed the “fastest night in the Upstate,” promises to be a lively community event, featuring hundreds of tents surrounding the course. Attendees can look forward to food, beverages, and entertainment as they enjoy the unique atmosphere created by both cycling enthusiasts and local supporters. All proceeds generated from the Criterium will benefit PAL: Play. Advocate. Live. Well., an organization aimed at improving the quality of life for children and families in the region.
