Developing: OneSpartanburg, Inc. is collecting community feedback to shape Vision Plan 3.0 — the next five-year strategy that guides Spartanburg County economic development priorities.
The survey window is short (10–15 minutes to complete), with responses due by April 19. If you run a business here, this is one of the few open channels to influence what the county prioritizes next (workforce, small business support, infrastructure, placemaking).
What are you hearing about the biggest business constraints right now — labor, permitting, rents, traffic, childcare, something else?
This is a developing business brief based on verified sources. Information may be incomplete. If you have additional details or corrections, add them in the comments below or contact our newsroom. When this story is fully confirmed, it will be published as a full article.

As a small shop owner, childcare and staffing are the biggest day-to-day constraints. If the county wants more small business growth, that has to be part of the plan.
Permitting timelines and inspection scheduling are where projects lose weeks. Would love to see process fixes, not just new initiatives.
Workforce pipeline + transportation. If you can’t get people to job sites reliably, everything downstream gets harder.
Surveys are nice, but it’s execution that matters. Hope they publish what they heard and what actually changes.
