The HERE Spartanburg newsletter is a free, twice-weekly digest of the most important local stories: Spartanburg County business news, school district decisions, public safety alerts, sports scores from Wofford, USC Upstate, the Hub City Spartanburgers, and Tier-1 high schools, plus weekend events and announcements. We do not send breaking-news pings or marketing emails — only a curated edition with the stories you cared about this week.

When it ships

Editions go out Tuesday and Friday mornings at 7:00 AM Eastern. Tuesday is a recap of the past weekend plus the week’s preview — county council agendas, BMW supplier news, school board votes, court actions, anything coming up locally. Friday is a wrap of the week — what got built, what got fixed, who’s hiring, and what’s happening this weekend.

Free, no ads in the body

The newsletter is free. We never share your email address. The newsletter contains a single sponsor card (clearly labeled) per edition — that’s how we keep the lights on while keeping the local news free for readers. The body is news, not marketing copy.
