HEAR HERE: GSP runway rehab schedule posted (nightly + weekend closures in 2026)

April 21, 2026 at 7:03 pm · GSP Airport project notice (Jan. 6, 2026)

Heads up for travel-heavy employers: Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) has published its schedule for a major Runway 4/22 rehabilitation project beginning this summer.

GSP says nightly runway closures are planned July 27 through Sept. 4 (11:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., after the last scheduled arrival), plus two full weekend closures Sept. 11–13 and Sept. 18–20.

If your business relies on early-morning or late-night flights, cargo movement, or out-of-town travel, now is the time to flag those dates internally.
