United Way of Greenville County Shifts Funding Strategy

United Way of Greenville County Adjusts Funding Focus

The United Way of Greenville County is changing its funding approach to concentrate on individuals in the county who are experiencing financial difficulties. This shift means more resources will be directed toward assisting working families who earn too much to qualify for most aid programs but not enough to achieve financial stability.

Some nonprofit organizations that do not align with this new strategic direction may no longer receive funding from the United Way. Despite these changes, the United Way will continue to be a significant investor in Greenville County’s nonprofit community.
