The program aims to connect high school students with paid, work-based learning opportunities throughout Greenville County, equipping them with practical skills and experience while still in school.
Scholarships were presented by representatives from both USC Upstate and the Greenville Chamber Foundation during the event. USC Upstate awarded scholarships to seven students who participated in LaunchGVL internships and applied for admission to the university. The scholarships included four awards of $2,200 per year for the duration of each recipient’s enrollment and three full-tuition scholarships.
