Taylor Chase Appointed Special Events and Sponsorship Coordinator
Taylor Chase has been hired by the Pitt Community College Foundation as its special events and sponsorship coordinator. She joined the Foundation in August and is currently finalizing plans for the Down East Holiday Show, the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. This event has taken place the first weekend in November since 2002.
Chase is completing a master’s degree in sustainable tourism and hospitality at East Carolina University. Before her role with the Foundation, she spent five years with Chick-fil-A, which included a public relations position.
In other news, the Better Skills, Better Jobs Fair is scheduled for Thursday at the Greenville Convention Center. More than 110 employers and community organizations from eastern North Carolina are expected to participate in this sixth annual event. Additionally, the final round of late-start classes at Pitt Community College for this fall begins on October 13.
