Spartanburg’s most popular barbecue competition, the Hub City Hog Fest, returns to downtown Spartanburg on April 10-11, 2026. The certified SC Barbecue Association event benefits Mobile Meals of Spartanburg.

Competing pitmasters will vie for top prize across multiple BBQ categories including pulled pork, wings, and sides. The event will feature live music throughout the weekend and local vendors set up across downtown Spartanburg.

Mobile Meals of Spartanburg delivers meals to homebound elderly and disabled residents throughout Spartanburg County. Last year’s event raised thousands for the organization’s mission.

The event is free to attend. Food purchases support the competition and the benefiting charity. The festival runs from 11 AM – 10 PM Saturday and 11 AM – 6 PM Sunday.
