Spartanburg Professional Baseball Club to Unveil New Name, Logos at Community Event

On May 11, Spartanburg Professional Baseball Club will publicly brandish its new identity.

Spartanburg, South Carolina – On May 11 the Spartanburg Professional Baseball Club will be setting a new milestone in its history. The club has announced that it will be publicly unveiling its brand new name, colors, and logos at an exclusive event planned at the location of its upcoming ballpark, Fifth Third Park, according to a news release.

The event, which is free for all and open to the public, promises an abundance of festivities that cater to all age groups. The block party kicks off at 5 p.m, featuring exquisite food trucks, kid-friendly activities, and soulful live music, leading up to the highlight of the program – the unveiling of the team’s upgraded identity.

Fans and attendees will have the opportunity to be the first to purchase exclusive team merchandise that features the new name and logos. A unique aspect of this event is the inclusion of a jersey customization station where fans can personalize their team jersey with their own name and favorite number.

The gathering is expected to conclude at nightfall with a breathtaking free fireworks show, launching from the future site of the ballpark.

“This is the first opportunity for us to start creating lifelong memories with the community and to showcase the personality, energy, and fun that fans can expect to experience at Fifth Third Park,” said Tyson Jeffers, general manager of the Spartanburg Professional Baseball Club. The block party is set to take place on Daniel Morgan Avenue, between Broad Street and West Henry Street. There is no entry fee to the event and all kid’s activities are free of charge.

Scheduled Timeline of the Event:

– 5 p.m.- The event starts, streets will be open for food trucks, kids’ activities, and live music.
– 7 p.m.- Official reveal of the new team name.
– 7:15 p.m.- Opening of the merchandise tent and jersey customization station.
– 9 p.m.- A Fantastic Firework Display.
