GREENVILLE, S.C. — In Greenville County, the latest senior class cleared record marks: a 92.2% graduation rate and college-or-career readiness above 90%.
District figures show the diploma rate climbed about a point and a half from the prior year and sits roughly 20 points higher than the 2012 baseline.
For the 2025-26 cohort, 90.5% hit at least one college-or-career readiness marker — the first time that share has broken 90% across the district.
On state report cards, nearly 99% of GCS campuses landed in the Excellent, Good or Average bands, and more than a third earned the top Excellent label.
Superintendent Burke Royster pointed to Graduation Plus, the Pre-K-through-12 push for a diploma plus college credit or a trade credential.
Most of the district’s 15 high schools beat the statewide graduation rate; 11 campuses including Riverside, Mauldin and Greenville High each cleared 90% for their four-year cohorts.
