SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Every state House member from Spartanburg County who asked voters for another term got one Tuesday, according to unofficial returns with all precincts counted.

Republicans held on to nearly every House district that covers the county. The lone Democratic win came in District 31, where incumbent Rosalyn Henderson-Myers took 89 percent and faced no Republican on the ballot; James A Jones Sr., running for the United Citizens Party, drew just under 10 percent.

Other incumbents won more comfortably. Republican Brian Lawson took 74 percent in District 30 against Democrat Stephanie Holstein, and Josiah Magnuson posted the same share in District 38 against Democrat Tammy Hahn. Travis A Moore won District 33 with 62 percent, and Bill Chumley matched that in District 35 over Tatiana Skipper.
