BMW Charity Pro-Am Moves to Country Club of Spartanburg for 2026 Tournament

April 13, 2026 at 7:12 pm · HERE Spartanburg Staff

The 2026 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD Synnex will be held June 4–7 at two Spartanburg County venues — the Country Club of Spartanburg and Thornblade Club in Greer.

The Country Club of Spartanburg replaces Carolina Country Club as the tournament’s second host course, a move organizers say is aimed at deepening the connection between the Korn Ferry Tour event and the Spartanburg community. The decision was made jointly by the Korn Ferry Tour and the South Carolina Charities, Inc. (SCCI) Board.

The tournament — the only event on the Korn Ferry Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with professionals in a three-day better-ball format — draws an estimated 45,000 spectators annually. About 35 percent of attendees are visitors, and 25 percent of those visitors stay in local overnight accommodations, making it one of the largest economic events on the Upstate sports calendar.

Amateurs, celebrities, and professionals rotate between the two courses on Thursday and Friday. The 12 lowest-scoring amateur teams and four lowest-scoring celebrity teams advance to Saturday’s final round at Thornblade Club. The lowest 65 pros and ties play Saturday and Sunday at Thornblade.

Player announcements, community activations, and ticket information will be released in the coming months.

Country Club of Spartanburg is a great choice. Much better access than Carolina CC for spectators coming from downtown.

Does anyone know if volunteer signups are open yet? I volunteered at Thornblade last year and had a great experience.
