SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Boiling Springs climbed three spots to No. 7 in the Week 9 Upstate Super 20 high school football rankings after an overtime win against Rock Hill Network rankings covering Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson area teams.
J.L. Mann also made the rankings for the first time in two seasons after back-to-back wins. The Super 20 lists what the network considers the top teams across those Upstate markets for Week 9 of the SCHSL season.
Dorman remained a top contender and is scheduled to host Boiling Springs on Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. In a Region 2-5A matchup. Boiling Springs entered the week at 6-1 overall and 1-1 in region play.
Several other Spartanburg County programs appear in the Super 20 mix, with Byrnes, Spartanburg and other Upstate schools slotted through the top 20 based on recent results and upcoming region schedules.
The rankings were published Monday and look ahead to Friday night games across the Upstate, including several contests that could reshuffle the board again for Week 10.
