Spartanburg, S.C. — Angels Charge Ministry is hosting a fashion show fundraiser Nov. 7 at the Spartanburg Art Museum to support transitional housing for formerly incarcerated women.
Fashion A Visual Language is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. at the museum at 200 East Saint John Street. Tickets are listed on Eventbrite for the in-person gathering.
Angels Charge Ministry was founded in 2014 by Pastor Nannie Jefferies after she visited local jails and prisons and saw women released back into the same environments that put them at risk of returning to dangerous lifestyles.
The ministry provides transitional housing and faith-based support for 6, 12, or 18 months to help women change life patterns and reduce recidivism in Spartanburg.
Organizers say proceeds from the fashion show help fund that housing and support work. The Nov. 7 event is promoted as a style-focused fundraiser with a message tied to the ministry mission.
