The Spartanburg High School Parent-Teacher Organization is holding its spring Viking Vendor Market on Saturday, May 2, inside the Viking Arena at 2250 East Main Street in Spartanburg, with more than 60 local vendors, food trucks, and activities planned.
The PTO promoted the event on its website and social media channels, calling it a chance to shop local and support the school community. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public.
What to expect at the Viking Vendor Market
Organizers said the vendor lineup includes a variety of local businesses and artisans. Food trucks will also be on site throughout the market hours. The Spartanburg District 7 website, which hosts the SHS PTO page, confirmed the event with the May 2 date and time and noted that the PTO uses events like the vendor market to raise funds that support student activities, staff appreciation, and school programs throughout the year.
The Viking Arena is the large indoor facility at Spartanburg High School on East Main Street, giving the market a central location easily accessible from both sides of Spartanburg.
