CLINTON, S.C. — Clinton closes its regular season at home Friday night against Woodruff, a 7:30 p.m. region game that wraps up league play for both teams.
The Red Devils come in at 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the region after running away from Landrum 52-14 last Friday. Clinton piled up 462 yards on just 38 snaps in that game, while holding Landrum to 221 yards on 46 plays.
Five different Clinton running backs reached the end zone against Landrum. Angelo Cromer, chasing a 1,000-yard season, ran for 117 yards and two scores on eight carries, and senior quarterback Owen Glenn opened the scoring with a 70-yard run in the first quarter.
Woodruff arrives with a 4-5 record. The Wolverines won the last meeting between the schools, beating Clinton 21-13 in 2025.
Clinton still holds the upper hand in the long run, leading the all-time series 14-8 across 22 games played since 2004. Six of those meetings were decided by a touchdown or less.
